Located within the Chimelong Spaceship indoor theme park in Zhuhai, China, the Bermuda Storm attraction has set a new standard for immersive theme park entertainment. Opened in September 2023, this monumental ride is now the world’s largest motion simulator and proudly holds a Guinness World Record for its impressive seating capacity, accommodating up to 304 guests on a single motion platform. Enclosed by a 270-degree curved projection screen, Bermuda Storm immerses riders in a visually and sensory-rich experience that transcends traditional attractions.
The Bermuda Storm attraction showcases Chimelong Group’s remarkable capability to assemble and lead a world-class team in delivering an exceptional entertainment experience. The creative concept for this project was envisioned by Mr. Su Zhigang, Chairman of Chimelong Group and Chief Creative Officer of Su Creative Studios, in collaboration with creative director Rick Rothschild. To bring this vision to life, a distinguished group of international industry leaders—including Brogent Technologies, Kraftwerk Living Technologies, Technifex, Mack Animation, Yessian Music and Sound Design, Visual Terrain Lighting Design, and Garner Holt Animatronics was engaged to provide their expertise.

The Bermuda Storm ride presents a vivid high-seas adventure, brought to life through cutting-edge technology and creative storytelling. Riders embark on a Caribbean voyage that quickly escalates into a thrilling encounter with a mythical sea monster during a fierce storm. The breathtaking visuals and dynamic effects make visitors feel as if they are right in the midst of a powerful thunderstorm.
The ride has also been recognized with the prestigious 2024 Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement, showcasing Brogent’s expertise in crafting large-scale, motion-based attractions.
