Arctic 1 4D Theater
Location: Wildlands Zoo Emmen Netherlands
Open Dates: 2016.03.15

The Arctic 1 4D Theater, located in the Nortica Arctic section of the Wildlands Adventure Zoo, invites visitors to become Arctic researchers on a thrilling expedition through icy landscapes. This immersive attraction allows up to 100 riders to board an exploration airship and embark on a polar journey across glaciers, learning about the fragile habitat of animals in the frigid zone.

Developed by Brogent Technologies, the theater integrates cutting-edge motion simulation, stunning 3D visuals, and multisensory effects to deliver a unique edutainment experience. The v-Ride motion base system features four platforms with three degrees of freedom. Advanced electric actuators ensure precise, smooth motion while minimizing noise, aligning perfectly with the sensitive needs of the zoo’s environment and its animal inhabitants.

Guests are immersed in the Arctic’s wonders with sensory effects like wind, mist, smoke, and leg ticklers, all perfectly synchronized with a high-resolution 8-meter by 4.5-meter screen. This combination of education and entertainment makes the ride both engaging and meaningful, providing visitors with a deeper understanding of polar ecosystems and the importance of conservation.

This project exemplifies Brogent’s mission to seamlessly blend education and entertainment through innovative immersive ride systems. By incorporating advanced motion simulation technology into unique venues like zoos and exhibition centers, Brogent transforms traditional visits into interactive and enriching experiences. The Zoo Emmen project stands as a significant milestone in our global expansion, highlighting our ability to deliver groundbreaking attractions tailored to diverse audiences and environments worldwide.
